Unreality Co. created a hero mixed reality VFX piece for the launch of Flavour Network, staging a larger-than-life cake suspended by a crane as it moved between high-rise apartment buildings. Told across a two-shot sequence, the piece first reveals the cake passing an apartment window before pulling back to expose its full scale within the city.
Executed using live-action footage shot for the piece with surreal VFX integration, the work grounded the spectacle in a real urban environment while building toward a final reveal as the Flavour Network logo illuminated while the cake was lowered. The result was a bold, playful introduction designed as a social-first moment for the channel’s debut.
